I found a backing track on youtube and decided to try to use bebot to improvise over it. I think i did alright with it. This should prove that you can indeed use the ipod touch and iphone as a legitimate musical instrument.

This app is called Bebot. Jordan Rudess uses it live in his band Dream Theater in the song A Rite of Passage. This is a great app and it's only $1.99 in the itunes app store. If you want a great cheap synth with a cute little robot that sings the notes for you, get this. This video only shows a small portion of what the app is capable of.

  • This video confuses the heck out of me because it's flipped from left to right! Good improv.
