hey guys. this description has really improtant updates and a meaning to it; so please watch this and read it fully. i need you to read it.

so this month, i switched back to 2 lessons a week, no part boarding. i also moved out of my tuesday lesson and switched to the thursday lesson. i really like the lesson, day, time and coach. i'm really happy with it. just one thing that bothers me, a big thing. there's this girl who also likes mel. i know many people like her, and i'm fine with that. its just i dont like her "style" of riding and truthfully, she's not a great rider. she usually rides mel every week and always talks about how she rides her, and is her favourite, and blah blah blah. its just she said one thing today, and it killed me. she said she was thinking about *part-boarding* mel. now i know others can ride her, but still. i have "dibs" on her for showing and part boarding. the thing is, if she part boards, i'm still in her lesson and i'll never be able to ride mel in that lesson. that girl is paying to ride her only, so she gets what she pays for. and that kills me. i need mel. i need to ride her. she is my electricity shock, she powers me. i cant let her not be, well mine. i know i sound really selfish, but its the truth. i hate watching others ride her. and i know she'll be ridden at least once by her in that lesson. i *know* it. and i especially hate how she rides, which kills me even more. i know mel isnt mine, but it seems like she is. if she partboards mel, then i'll be devastated. i think im the best rider for mel atm (and so does everyone else basically...) and if i cant ride her as much or part board her when i can that'll kill me on the inside.
i know there's a 98% chance she wont part board her, but that 2% can still be there. that girl almost *loves* mel. this sounds really selfish, but i want to be that only girl. it's not just "oh i LOVE this horse" its "this horse is the best thing in the entire world.", even more than that. i cant explain it. it's breathtaking, not explainable. my example didnt even help at all..i just cant tell you how much i love this pony. if she was taken away, so i can only ride her once a week, that will kill me.
some of you think mel is perfect. no. way. every day theres a challenge, might be huge, might be one little thing. one little mistake. i love it. i love a challenge. mel isnt the hardest horse no ride, no doubt, but i still have a challenge. its almost like she does it on purpose. she makes me a better rider. and i love her even more for that. it may be a little chip to a random spook or refusal. anything, i love her for every mistake. after the erin fall fair, she made me stronger. yes, i was scared, but she pushed me through it. she made me better. i love mel for that other specific reason.
i know i seem selfish. i know i seem like i want mel all for my self. thats not going to happen, and i know it. i just want mel to be somewhat, somehow, a little bit mine. shes a huge part of my life, and i want her to stay like that.

Oh. My GOD!!!! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about! I'm leasing my horse, and there's this girl who lives in Russia and comes every summer to ride. She's in love with the horse that I'm leasing, like seriously *in love* and she's a terrible rider!! The worst part is, this next year she's moving here and I'm going to have to split a lease with her and share my horse. So i'll never get another lesson on him all to myself ever again. ='( I completely understand how you feel it sucks so much

I feel SO bad for you. I almost went through something similar, just worse. My loan pony, Susie, was being put up for sale. She had over 20 offers, and most from other states. Luckily, I got first dibs :) I hope this all works out for you, I would hate if that happened to me!

I feel so bad for you hon. I lease gabby off a older woman who doesn't have time to handle both of her ponies, so I sorta take a load off her. But i'm the only person permitted to ride him other then her and my trainer. But I know what its like since I rode Wyatt (Hannahbanana623's horse she leases) for awhile and it was just was heart wrenching. But I believe if your trainer doesn't think she rides well enough, and might damage Mel, she won't let her part-board. Good luck girl, PM me if u need2

@ilovemagichorse yeah, i really dont understand that. the "popular" youtubers block out the people with less than 500, then only can become friends with the people with 1000+. its so unfair, especially in contests and collabs!!

@ILoveLotsOfStuff yeah, i can relate to you about the whole arthur thing, same thing with when i was just riding random horses. there was a horse named seamus and i used to not like it when others rode him even when i failed >.<

i know what you mean about not wanting anyone else to ride her, i know i don't ride arthur anymore, but i still don't like it when other people ride him (who aren't too good at riding) and i know that i was perfectly crap when i rode him, but i dunno :/
