Video Databending Using Hex Editor And Ambient Glitch Music

This video started off as a 8 second clip of crude animation. I then made random adjustments to it using a hex editor, saving the results as I went. Not knowing much about hex editors some of the changes I made rendered the saved clips unplayable. When I was finished I had 17 altered clips which I put together in chronological order. After which I added a beginning and an end.
The samples used in the Ambient Glitch Music soundtrack were generated by corrupting mp3s using WordPad and then trying to open them with Goldwave. It didnt always work but it created some interesting results. I then chopped these samples up into tiny fractions of a second and then rearranged them to create new sounds.

Amazing in every way, I listen to this song on my way to work and it really gives me a lift, I also sing improvised lyrics over this to my children as lullabies, and even had this for my wedding song. Beautiful

@TheIronz Thanks for the comment I really appreciate it. I'm glad you liked the song. Personally I wouldn't describe this particular tune as uplifting. I think my other video, Databending Ambient Glitch Music and Abstract Film suits that discription better. I would love to hear, or even just read, some of the lyrics you have improvised.

...cool,, I sometimes play with stuff in notepad as well. Although it usually makes them unplayable and my crappy computer refuses to open things in notepad. Cnat wiat to get new power suply for my faster puter,,
