yea, that's it. Just wanted to test out the new cam & workflow. filmed with a 5d mark ii and a nikon 60mm micro lens with adapter (not too close obviously, so i used JES Deinterlacer to resize the footage and to convert it from it's native h.264 to the much more final cut pro friendly apple prores 422 LT). Imported prores file into FCP, did some initial 3-way color correction to adjust the overall contrast of the clip, then used my new favorite recent purchase, "neat video", to reduce some slight noise from the high ISO due to the low light situation. Exported that clip as a self contained movie, and reimported that clip to FCP so it would be compatible with apple Color, which I then sent it over to for it's final color corrections. Sent back to FCP where I exported yet another self contained movie file to the desktop and opened that up with JES Deinterlacer once again, to convert the corrected footage back into the YouTube friendly H.264 format and here ya have it. I guess I should upload the original unedited footage so you can see the changes, but let me just say that for $100, the pro version of neat video is the most valuable program for the dollar on the market today for DSLR filmmakers, (and I imagine HDV/DV as well)... buy dat sheit!
