When I first saw her I had no idea that she was blind. It was @ the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle circa 1984. I had never heard of her, but I quickly realized just how good she was. Afterwards, I bought an LP of hers that was named eponymously after her nickname, 'Deedles'.

I LOVE Diane!! She is amazing live as well as in recordings. Does anyone have her rendition of Cry Me a River to post? It is THE BEST version!! I only have it on cassette.
