i've never participated in any govt handouts. i can see that you are a self rightious turd. whole foods is a grocery store chain, not a producer of food. the do exactly what mr. nelson is suggesting by buying local food. its bad form to weigh in on an arguement half cocked and with an attitude

The issue is subsidies, and I decline. If you wish to buy such food do so. Don't tell me that I must by providing subsides "welfare" to unprofitable ventures. These farms must compete or die.

Nice how CNN leaves out Obama's manmade farming and ranch disasters in Texas and California. A million acres of dead farm and cattle. Spring we will all be eating container ship food.
