  • good band

this track a bit hugely influenced by jefferson airplane i think

  • bought this record at some record/book shop in the Village when its new and also got autograph on Witt from Patti Smith at the same place and lost both during life but that was a good day in bad times

  • Holding album in hand as I write this. Great band.

  • One of the best uses of violin in rock, ever. I was so glad when the Machine that Cried got rereleased on cd a bit back.

  • A diffinitely unique sound.

  • Grahame Smith is one of the best rock violinists around!!

  • I remember finding The Machine that Cried in the record bins back in the day, but initially it was one of those record rating clubs from the back of a magazine...EARS, I believe. Turns out they send you old records trying to get reintroduced to the public again, and Keep Yer 'and On It was one they sent me. Great Lp, but the first 2 were sublime. Everything else after isn't the true SDT band anyway.

  • Thanks for posting! I haven't thought of this band for years , CAN YOU FEEL MY LOVE YouTube ? (!)

  • I remember seeing this band on several occasions, mainly at " ENOCHS" heavy rock club nights, held at the George Hotel in Burslem , Stoke on trent on Sunday nights, great memories, Pauline Adams without shoes, and the great Graham Smith.!!! Happy Days.
