The Garden follows the plight of the farmers, from the tilled soil of this urban farm to the polished marble of City Hall. Mostly immigrants from Latin America, from countries where they feared for their lives if they were to speak out, we watch them organize, fight back, and demand answers

  • Agreed. The second this becomes a one-sided perspective on how certain people are "owed" something that never belonged to them in the first place, at the disregard of the wishes of the rightful owners' property, an equal travesty occurs within our system. The owner gave the farmers an offer to buy... and then refused when the money was raised. A crappy situation, yes... but the owner's right none the less. Not to mention anything about the legal status of all the farmers demanding rights...

  • Sounds like an exit plan was needed upon the inception of the garden idea. Yea???
