My young Pteropyllum sp. Santa Isabel/ Sao Gabriel redback 'altum' angels in a full light video.

Here is a video of my 10 juvenile Santa Isabel/ Sao gabriel redback 'altums' in a 200x70x70 tank. I shot this video under full light conditions. These fish undergo lots of changes as they grow. Sometimes they look like a fine Pt. scalare, somedays they look a lot like Pt. Altum. I think these fish are about 7-8 months old, but it is hard to tell since they are wild caught. About a month - 6 weeks ago some started to get their red colouring on their backs. They are in this tank together with 25 Corydoras Sterbai. There is a 150x45x40 biofilter underneath.
It shows that these fish in the wild live under low light conditions, under full light they shoal close together, under low light conditions you can see them showing their behaviour when they feel more comfortable.

When you feed more you will also need to do more waterchanges. When they were younger I did 50% water changes twice a week.

At the time of the video I fed them 5 times a day. Nowadays I feed them twice a day.

Beautiful tank. What is the capacity - gallons/litres? Do you find the wild Angels difficult to keep?
