This is my first video here so pardon if you find any issues with my skills :) suggestions and comments are welcome. This is a semi-home style quick and easy Mongolian Hot Pot. Ingredients
store-bought instant hot pot soup base

  • hey can you plz tell me where to buy that soup base.....? i live in san diego......

  • @sonalee9080 I purchase mine from an Asian Supermarket. If you have a Ranch 99 or Lion Supermarket, try those places.

  • lol 1 can water?

  • yeah I know :) growing up sometime my Mother use different stuff to measure and she would tell me like "oh put one rice bowl" of this and that. Asian household rarely have real measuring instruments ehehhe

  • Is 'broth' another word for stock?

  • wow... look easy.. i will try to do that

  • i use a diffrent soup base which comes in a jar.. and also coconut!! and you can add quail eggs

  • @Asianlovejuice Honestly, for this style I am not sure. The ingredients on the back package is all written in Chinese. I do have a Cambodian-Style hot pot base which is available on my website if you would like to check it out.

  • if you use beef, then use beef stock or vegetable.

Chicken stock is for chicken and fish.

  • where can i get the hot pot base at? and if im using beef can i use beef broth instead of chicken?

  • i think the raw egg... was to add more flavor just like sukiyaki in japan, after all we were occupied by the jap. years ago....(:
