first thing is those fish aren't "wild" as he explains at 2:22 if shaun were local he would know that they are planted! So all i have to say is WOW!!! I love how all these outfitters (cock shiners) come from out of the the area or even worse out of the state and claim to be experts about the landscape and about the wildlife. Furthermore there are people around they are only about a quarter mile away from the highway. The only reason there is no one around is cause your on a PRIVATE SECTION!!

Great video. I ran into Shaun on the Green River and he invited us to go fishing here. Great idea until I found out it was $700/day. I'll bushwhack it for that price or go to Lee's ferry and get a guide there for a lot less.

must be nice to have the money to fish private sections and catch select fish when us locals have to go bush wack the swamp and hopefully catch a slime rocket (rainbow) but most likely just catch a god damn sucker.

why don't you guys go try the public sections WHERE ITS A CHALLENGE!!

I fished this river back in 05 and had a blast! I caught a handful of rainbows and a couple fat browns. It is a fun place to fish, the weather is warm and so no need for waders!
hi goozmooshak,
the Fremont River in Southern Utah is a great location this time of year, lots of big browns and a few rainbows. The best things about it are the breathtaking scenery straight out of a classic western, and the fact that there are no people there at all making it a true wild adventure.
