I wasn't attacking you. Sorry if you got that impression, perhaps you thought I was after you said I had a low intellect for saying Ian looked like he was goading the cops.

I was just asking you what you would do after you were so vocal about how badly you had been treated by the police.

If I am being honest I would have to say that I don't believe you can actually offer an intellectual answer. Just like I don't believe you would not go to the cops if you were a victim of crime.

You ahve never asked me for constructive criticism, so why are you attacking me?

Anyway, easy answer. The police should police by democratic consent and they should be held accountable to the general public.

As for a more intellectual answer to your question, yes, I do have a better method of policing. It will take a long time to implement, but my idea will work far better than simply giving thugs authority over their fellow citizens.

It will take more than 500 word limit to explain.

Whats the alternative katkinsful? Do we get rid of the cops and have a lawless society where you hope that everyone will get along and play nice? Or do we strip the cops of any sort of authority and hope they can bring people to justice by use of kind words as to not offend anyone? You offer a lot of criticism but don't really offer any constructive criticism. You might actually be the best person to ask on what to change!? What with all your experiences of bad policing and all...

Some of them may have been peaceful but a good number of them were probably arseholes deliberately making a nuisance of themselves. Apart from the late Ian Tomlinson I have no sympathy for them.

What percentage were making a nuisnance? Did the pigs make a nuisance as well? Have you seen today's 'photos of Plain Clothes Officers brandishing batons at the same demonstration? How were the public to know they were police officers? Why were they brandishing batons when in plain clothes? Inciting a riot, by any chance?

So, on the basis of 'he was wearing trackies and leisure wear' you conclude he was not on his way home from work and he was out for trouble?

You limited intellect demonstrates that you are a police officer (pig) or supporter of low intelligence thugs (viz: police officers (pigs)).

I do not see your point. What does it matter if he was attempting to get home from work or attempting to get home from a drinking session? In what way is the violent behaviour of the thug pig justified?

I assume you know that the pig involved had previously been ousted from the police because of a road-rage incident? He somehow tricked his way back in. The police allowed a violent person into their ranks.
