(20 seconds black before the video starts) This is the beauty of the Amazona's rain forest, full of life and strength. In this video you can see the beautiful Cristalino river and forest and the amazing Salto Augusto waterfalls, inside of the recently named National Park of Juruena, still closed to the public.
Have a look also to the video we uploaded here about the Amazona's drama.
If you feel like you want to help to keep the world lung alive, please contact the WWF and ask what you can do to help. Every single person can do something for it and all together is really power.

  • To land in Salto Augusto with the little plane we had to fight for a special permission, we could remain there only a couple of hours. The situation was quite sensible, not only there but also in the little towns located in the limits of the new national park. It makes a big difference to fight for a piece of land in the distance or to go there and live the problematic in situ.

I find a bit unimportant to write this, but anyway: It's good to wear sunglasses and light clothes there.

  • Beautiful! I was in Leticia in Amazonas and studied spanish at The Amazon Spanish College. It was the most amazon experience I have had. The river, the birds, the monkeys, the dolphins, everything was stunning.
