Metroid: Other M in a Nutshell

**WARNING!! SPOILERS AHEAD**

I'll admit 9 minutes is a little long for a nutshell, but this story is deep, man.
Apologies for the interlacing in places.

*EDIT* I'd just like to reiterate I don't hate the game, and I wasn't hating on the game when I made this video, I was just making fun of it.
The characterisation of Samus is controversial and the plot is poorly delivered yes, but if you can look past that there's a fun, action packed game here.
When Prime 3 had full dialogue I was disappointed that Samus herself stayed silent, so I was looking forward to hearing her speak. The problem was her monologue is poorly delivered at times and the writing is bad, and there's simply too much of it.
Another problem I had was Samus' physique. Call me crazy but I think a super athletic warrior trained by the Chozo should have a bit more... meat and muscle to her? Her zero suit makes her look too femimine, and in this game in particular she's too small and petite to even match the suit she's wearing. I know Brawl and Zero Mission did it too but it particularly bothered me here.
But then, if none of this bothers you then great, Metroid Other M is a brilliant addition to the Metroid Saga.

Oh yes, this sums up the story pretty well. The quality is a bit too high to be truly representative, but it does a good job.

Hopefully sakamoto realises that splitting the fanbase in half was a bad idea, and we'll get another awesome 2d metroidvania (without being split into "sectors". Fusion did that already. And better than other M did.) next. That follows on from fusion.

An odious, puerile piece of shit that has made gaming a worse thing merely by having existed and having the potential to influence later games. I like to think of Other M as a malignant tumor on Metroid. If we're lucky, it will be cut out. If not, it will spread through the series until it kills it through sheer volume of failure.
