Yeah such is the nature of the beast. I do the same thing though without realizing it to people criticizing or hating on stuff. Its a nasty habit.

Try going for over 200% and be at the last save in about 3-4 hours...with over 1k HP

they replaced the credit song in the PSP port...so much better sounding

this is the ending I got. Funny, I was also video-recording it and the dracula battle was easy.
It was simply a matter of getting a couple of elixirs, hitting dracula, then changing into mist when he uses his two special attacks.
Somehow, I got this ending tho with only 195%. My % is 195.6 having opened up about three or four more hidden rooms.

I kinda felt bad for Alucard... seriously, I hope he doesn't just get into his coffin and sleep, it would be good if he spends his life with Maria for all eternity (he should bite her and turn her into his kind)

well the under 8 hours is not necessary .. because last week i played this game again the first time i played it was on 1998 anywayz
after i beaten the game i saw i got 95.2% and 12 hours and something .. that was because i wanted to get the best weapons and items

Yeah I didn't know the exact percent necessary to get the ending. I also think you need to beat the game in under 8 (or was it 7?)hours with 195% completion to get this ending too.

The only bad thing about this classic game is the sucky music during the credits. Seriously, wtf!?

Hey bud I got 200 percent and I didn't use the sword glitch either mainly cause I sucked at it. Whats this 199 percent weakness!? :D
