Tytus and I doing a little leg yield.
He is a PMU Percheron and will be 6 years old in April. Right now he is 17.1 and around 1400 lbs. I adopted him when he was about a year old, and I have basically trained him myself. I am relatively new to dressage though so I have lessons on him every other week with my trainer, which helps me alot lol. :)

  • @Chinabell14 no problem! :)

if it interests you i rode him today in my trainer's saddle which fits him. it's a wide tree passier. they're on the expensive side, but if you looked around for used ones you'd probably be able to find a decently priced one!

    good luck with your percheron!

  • Thanks so much for telling me! I'm looking into buying a percheron and wanted to gather so information.

  • @Chinabell14 i actually ride him in my medium tree pessoa jumping saddle lol. it sounds stupid, but he is actually not that wide. it's not the greatest fit ever though, i'm looking to buy a wide tree dressage saddle soon. i'll let you know what i find if you want! :)

  • what size tree is your saddle? Do you know any good brands that aren't too expensive?
