The Cap and his Magic Band playing their oh-so-conventional sound to a bunch of hip crowd members on a beach.
Fucking love it.

He did actually drop acid quite a bit. Even if his music was play, The Captain had a reputation for being a ruthless disciplinarian, and most of his music was inspired by 'high art' freejazz music. Suppose the big difference between the two is the fact Beefheart had a level of subtly which Zappa couldn't breach with his annoying groupie stories. My original point is, though, I think it's unfair to compare them. They're very different, and really, without Zappa you'd probably never heard of CB.

To answer the question about what electricity is about you just gotta understand the concept of abstract lyrics and lyrics based on the feelings, it may not hold any conventional meaning but still have a million different meanings for each person listening to it, and who's to prove them wrong...

By the Way, Frank Zappa was Always Jealous of Don Van Vliet. it's true All of Don's Music came Straight out of his head. he didn't have to write it down. llike Frank. Although i Love Frank. he wrote all of his songs meticulously down.
