A Day in the Life: Candles, Incense & Journals

This is what a typical saturday looks like for me.

After cleaning my apartment, which you don't see on the video, I light candles, incense and oil and I journal, create and write for most of the day. Or I read and drink tea. I like this little short video. It's peaceful to me.

My cat's name is Granola.

I have various journals that I write in at once. One is just for poetry. One is for business. One is for theater. One is for my thoughts. One is for morning pages. That's why you see so many on my table.

@sheenalyoung have you tried writing in your journal after you've meditated? your stream of consciousness shifts and you may notice a bit of clarity or feeling a bit overwhelmed with all that you want to express. It's very interesting. :)

LOVE! This truly makes me want to start writing again. I used to write a lot back in my darker days, and since then I haven't really opened myself up to writing again. I need to take a day to myself and devote it to "opening a vein". I loved that quote!
