I wish we had a better name for them other than "wolf," because they aren't wolves. They are very unique species of wild dog, closely related to another species of wild dog in South America called the Bush Dog.

Guara means in Tupi-Guarani "blond hair or the color of the sun."
It really does not look like a wolf because it is slim, not to be aggressive and have a very despecializada diet of small rodents.
But it is undoubtedly a beautiful animal that we hope will be preserved because their habitat is being invaded by the monoculture of soybeans and there is also the danger of fires.

Their place as a species reminds me of the Hyena, which is also not related to the wolf at all yet still many people think they are. :3

The Female died 3 years ago in bablesy, a diseas transported by ticks. Offcourse no one were punished for that, also they disgraced the dead of her. She were skinned and stuffed for the mouseum of biology, and the director f the park were "proud" of the "collection" what he offered for the mouseum.
