FFX-2 Solo Warrior vs Paragon-Trema 1A

Part 1 of 2. One hour compressed to 20 minutes, 2X speed until she begins attacking Trema, then 4X speed except for the Meteors, Ultima and final KO. I used about 30 heal items so I could keep attacking longer but you could get by with just a few by using Clean Slate in between each attack, it would just take longer.

You don't need healing for Meteor since it only does 12 damage in Sentinel but you should keep HP up as best possible after the second Meteor until Ultima is used (unless you removed Trema's MP or he runs out [NA version]). Also keep Reflect on because Flare + Ultima can be deadly, especially if attacked again before healing. Just before Ultima, she was hit by Flare and it was not wise to proceed with Sparkler, though she would likely have barely survived and used the heal before Trema's next attack.

Man... can the normal version of Paragon be beaten without Catnip abuse? I've tried, but he keeps flooring me. I don't have the Chocobo dungeon thing either.

Use 3 DK's on Valiant Lustre with Defense Bracer and Crystal Bangle. Change thru all DS on the GG for the extra power-ups. Use Megalixir and then spam Black Sky. Whenever Paragon puts its hands to its face, have the next char up use another Megalixir. Should only take 5-6 Megalixirs for Paragon. In Ch.2 or Ch.3 Thunder Plains Agency, calibrate at least 5 of the 10 towers and attempt the others.

How do you get paragon to oversoul I can't do previous cloisters without having to do the last 20 over so I can't get him to oversoul, btw I'm on my first time through the game any advice on how to beat paragon/tremel?
