Burns Cameron? I have The Jeopardy Book (1990), and it says he was on the Art Fleming version and was the only one invited to Super Jeopardy.

And Jeff Richmond, if you guys forgot already, is the same one who played Final Jeopardy against the house during the Ultimate TOC. Unfortunately, he did not make it to the finals to play against Ken Jennings.

Gary Giardina was actually in the 1986 $100,000 Tournament of Champions which included the "Game Shows" category and his episode was aired on November 6, 1986 meaning it was episode #49 of Season 3 and episode #439 overall.

Jennings, Rutter and Vered already went head-to-head-to-head in the Ultimate TOC. These guys already made enough career winnings. The idea of another UTOC doesn't seem so special anymore; especially involving these guys.

Over $172,000 won??? And this is back when the dollar values were halved and you only had 5 days to stay in! Man, I'd love to see his run. But yeah, dude, thanks for posting this. Haven't seen Super Jeopardy since I was 8 years old!

With the exception of Spangenburg, all $100,000+ winners won their 100K TOCs. Imagine Frank winning only $2,597 in 5 days and then winning his $100K tourney. He and Bob Blake had not played their TOC until the following season.
