Wagner is used throughout the film, which includes: 'Parsifal,' 'Tristan und Isolde,' 'Ziegfried's Funeral,' etc. Carl Orff 's 'O Fortuna' is also used in the movie, but I wasn't referring to it in my original comment.

Except that it's not Wagner... it's Carl Orff, and the part they use is called O' Fortuna found in Carmina Burana

Sounds like the intro music to Life on Mars

true that!

You nailed it w/ the aforementioned films you named! You have excellent taste and insight.

I agree wholeheartedly.

that intro with the music has forever enthralled me. i have watched this film countless times and yet i return on youtube to search for clips of it. This film has all a fantasy lover would want, goose pump giving music, great story and most of all, a tale of virtue against darkness
Great Movie. The Best of all the other King Arthur flicks. Something about loyalty, honor, trust, betrayl, faith and a common cause between good versus evil that you don't see in today's valueless world. Two movie's I can compare this to is George Lucas Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Gladiator. Sometimes the Score greatly enhances the movie especially in these three. Loved them all. P.S. I hope Lucas' kids continue the Star Wars saga with fresh idea's
