My Coolit Domino ALC sprung a leak and jacked things up pretty good. The liquid smells bad and it's hard to clean up. It was a slow leak and once I took it off the motherboard and it wasn't being held there by the screws it got way worse.

  • Man.. a 4890 I would have cried myself to sleep, my video-card was only a 9800gt and a xfx 750a motherboard. I replaced it with a ati 5770 & a gigabyte 890gpa-ud3h what did you get ? I am thinking of getting an Antec KUHLER H2O 920 or a Corsair H80 or ( H100 if it will fit in my case) what cooler are you using now.

  • @buzzzlink i usually had two 4890s in there but the fan was making a noise on one of them so i took it out probably a couple months beforehand... than since the one i was using got fried and the fan was still good i was able to swap the fans. good thing i took it out or probably both woulda been doomed haha. i replaced my board with a asus crosshair iv and i picked up a cooler master V8 and honestly its pretty damn good. i dont think i'll be going back to liquid cooled for a bit :P

  • it happened to me too, at that time i lost my video-card and motherboard I sold my cpu and ram & rebuild my pc 4 months ago

  • @buzzzlink i hear ya, it messed up my video card and motherboard aswell :( i had a radeon 4890 in there

  • @Unasigad wasnt boiling wasnt hot. the pressure was pushing it out, for lack of a better example i guess you can compare it too kinda like making spit bubbles..

  • @rasierdotcom Wait. But why was it boiling?

  • @raymankisser yea it does, kinda sounds like it too... but it actually happened while i was on vacation and the pc was off for nearly 2 days before i got to record it
