Game Winning 30+ yard field goal, in freezing weather, with a few seconds left. Mt.Vernon Rams beat Cahokia for the first time in school history i think. We clinched the South 7 Conference Championship with this game. On out way to an undefeated regular season and 11-1 overall. Awesome Kick.

  • no it's not. you don't have 11 guys rushing you at full speed. american football has less than two seconds to kick the ball or else it's blocked so you have to move when the ball is in the middle of the snap, therefore not knowing how the ball is gonna be held. and you have to adjust in mid-kick to the way the ball is, laces in/out etc. you people have all the time in the world.

  • this is easy compared to rugby feil goals

  • Most high school teams have difficulty kicking a 25 yard field goal, let alone one that looks like a 45 yarder.

  • dammit it was a game winner..why do you think everyone went crazy?
