This is a faster version of the original mix, maybe mixed a bit progressively by Sasha and Digweed to suit the compilation. But don't worry, it doesn't spoil the beauty of the original and I recommend it.

  • Wish they had released this version standalone, without the mix at the start/end.

  • @yellowredxx

True, but I think that being rare like some kind of bootleg is another thing that makes it special.

  • This isn't the version I have on the album 10 Years. It's faster. In fact, I've never heard this version.

  • @gunslingerfry

Yes, you are right. Well this is the Northern Exposure version so this must be some kind of faster mix to suit the compilation. Anyway I like this the best. Sorry for the wrong information.

  • @lpool18 yah, but how did you know.......

  • @Ijanici oh! oh! apollo 440! and daft punk another one i liked. thanx for your pence, anytime!!

  • well this is the first version i heard and loved. i've forgotten the d.j. who worked at the virgin records on w. sunset blvd, and was also on groove radio. but he gave me his card, told me to call if i ever needed anything after he turned me on to northern exposure, and wired. and im nobody ya know! what a wonderful time that was. also i lived the version on the c.d. that looked like gaundie sitting there sorry i cant remember the title. cerca 1997 though.

  • The tune being mixed out at the beginning of this upload is Liquid Cool by Apollo 440, for my 2 pence worth.

  • Best version. Ill!!!

  • @gunslingerfry

Yeh mate. It's the same tune. All Sasha/Digweed done on Northern Exposure is instead of spinning it at 33rpm, they've spun it at 45rpm but down as slow as it will go on the pitch fader. If you've got a set of decks give it a go and you'll see.
