Large anti-academy meeting for the Save Downhills School campaign, Jan 2012. Speakers included the General Secretary of the NUT Christine Blower, Fiona Miller from the Local Schools Network, and Alasdair Smith from the Anti Academies Alliance, with David Lammy MP for Tottenham. It was held at Downhills School itself. Supportive local councillors, teachers, governors, parents and carers from Downhills and other local schools also made this a successful part of building a campaign in Haringey to support Haringey schools under threat.
