Golden Globe Winner- Colin Firth, Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama

Brett Erlich and Ellen Fox give the royal treatment to "The King's Speech," the Oscar-baiting film starring Colin Firth as England's King George VI, who must overcome a severe stutter to help rally his nation as World War II looms. Helena Bonham Carter plays George's wife Elizabeth (the mother of the current Queen) while Geoffrey Rush is the unorthodox Australian speech therapist who works with the king. If you somehow need any more reasons to click, this exclusive review also includes a rare (proper) use of "insouciant." How very posh!

  • Yeah. Who would wanna see a movie with great performances, a good interesting story and a wonderful score more than one time? That would be... crazy.

That reviewer is an idiot. Fact of life

  • Aww, Brett, don't fret! Grandma's Boy 2 will probably be out soon and it is more on your intellectual level.

  • @maxpayne232 He didn't say it was a bad movie. It just wasn't his kind of movie. He gave it a fresh, relax.

  • this is probably why i stopped watching rotten tomatoes they are so dang insulting and always got to put in their 2 cents. oh shut up brett and ellen

  • Although Brett is toats wrong, he's really adorkable with his huge-ass ears!

  • Colin Firth's performance in this movie was unbelievable, one of the best I've seen in recent years. He totally deserved the Oscar he got for this film.

  • People.. don't fucking call people retards. It is an irrelevant and, by today's standards, offensive word. It's like saying "nigger" or "spic". You just don't bloody well use them. If you disagree, please.. just go fuck yourself. No one gives a shit about you :P

  • that reviewer is fukin sh1t srsly

  • I'm so tired of this guy generalizing movies for men. Oh, it's categorized to lean more towards woman, well then it isn't for us manly guys. Get over yourself, movies are for everyone, they don't have a gender. -.-

  • I kinda agree with Brett. It's extremely well made and the acting is phenomenal, but I wouldnt want to watch it again. I think that Toy Story 3, Inception, Black Swan, and True Grit were all better films than this. I'd give it a 6.5/10.

  • This is NOT the type of movie I would normally see. But it was Christmas Day and I was in line at the movies so I picked this one. Glad I did. I really enjoyed it. Took my mom to see it too . Loved it the second time as well.
