  • @bill1821st Thank you very much!! I searched and I see: I found it: already some days ago, subscribed there for my special Tubechannel TheodorakisFriends. Favorited them! I have collected all Ulco64's videos from the East Berlin Concert in a special playlist there :) Very nice that you took the time for answering, and if you might find videos with Mikis or his music, please let me know! I collect them all....... in TheodorakisFriends!

  • @EttasFavourites That is the perfect orchestration watch?v=563uesc50HM . These songs has been inspired by the romantic spirit of the prewar era. That is the reason that Mikis chose only piano for the orchestration. In fact these songs are of the style of lied (Mikis loves Schubert's "der Lindenbaum" (here Mikis sings Schubert (watch?v=xI_vO4WO5Hg) ) . Mikis explains about Veatriki in this interview watch?v=odtXjkzUoOQ

  • @bill1821st ....and the composition is beyond words.... that is Mikis' power, talent, gift, heart, soul....

  • I do not like the orchestration, but Farantouri is marvelous.
