@jessbail1 Your YouTube icon should be enlarged with the steps provided in this tutorial.
If not, I recommend the following procedures:
1. Click on your YouTube icon once.
2. Press and hold down the CTRL key.
3. Scroll up or down on the mouse wheel, until you are satisfied.
4. Deselect the icon, by clicking elsewhere on the desktop.

@jessbail1 Hmmmm . . . JessBail, the following may work:
I'm sorry, but if it's not enlarging, I can only surmise that it's because it's a file that cannot be modified (i.e., .html file).
Html files and Internet shortcuts cannot be enlarged because they are probably untrusted by your firewall. In this case, you could either modify your firewall settings in the Control Panel.
You could try that, as well.
