Kyosho Prestige 4WD (Pirate M1 & Impuls 2000)

This is the Kyosho 1:8 scale Prestige 4WD, this buggy was released in 1989 by Kyosho and designed by Hobao, it uses the Pirate (RS) chassis. have you seen this before?

So the Pirate I raced years ago was a Kyosho??

No it is not Kyosho but was sold by Kyosho in Japan although it's box says Kyosho and it carries a Kyosho Kit No.Kyosho in the late 80's worked as an agent for some brands like BMT from Italy and Hobao in Taiwan.

OOh,that explains why there is a picture of a Pirate in 91` Kyosho cataloge(page148).

That picture have confused me for 18 years now ...

Wow very nice to see it in action!! carries this one the same chassis as the Porsche 959 Pirate Kyosho, I bought last week?The one on TC :-)
