I think the point is that he's a presidential candidate and he's claiming that he has no control over investments made by his blind trust whereas the older clip shows him blithely admitting that blind trusts are a "ruse" and that they're easy to control. So, he appears to be speaking in an inconsistent manner in that regard. See?
