@BasicModelling Oh, ok, i've seen a lot of pics of kilo subs and they all had a red underside :) maybe it's just that particular one that doesn't have one :)

@magicstix0r Black hole? You've lost me now, I'm afraid... unless it is something I put in the video.. in which case I blame Wikipedia and thank you for your correction.. :)

The Project 636 is not referred to as a "black hole" by the US Navy. That's a myth started by a dubiously referenced website in broken English being quoted on Wikipedia.

@Warrantofficer13 Didn't know that.. but I do now.. :)

@mildlydecentfilms Not this one... :) :) I painted as the instructions told me to do.. right or wrong, I don't know, but either way it stays.. :)

Nice little kit. Didn't know there was a Kilo class kit. I impulse bought their Akula class kit. Built it in less than 5 min. Haven't painted it yet though. If I remember remember correctly, this one has 4 colors used on it and comes with a few decals.

@ComradeMP187 Yes, the HobbyBoss subs are quite quick builds.. I found another submarine in my stash the other day, that I had forgotten all about.. may build it later this year, it's the HobbyBoss 'Gato' class US Submarine.. :)
