Hi Mark, after watching your video and think back to Shawn Clement's on pendulum movement. It seems that your advice is having the same taste. Now I know what I should practice for the trigger and power. Thanks you two. Great video.

i have been looking for this"magic" move as its the link between the backswing and downswing - i did however drop on a similar video on you tube from zach allen called golf transition which advocates the same move with the addition of straightening the right arm at the same time(without losing the wristcock) which can be practised indoors -great lessons mark i wish i liived near enough to come for some lessons

Hi Mark, I've recently started getting stuck on the inside on the way down. For years I had an over the top loop and in my efforts ive eneded up too far on the inside! have you any drills that will help me get it somewhere in the middle? Thanks, Rick

Hey Mark thanks for all the effort you go through to give free instructional videos. You have helped me in many ways.
I have a bad habit of trying to "hit" the ball by flexing my upper body muscles and I have fat/inconsistent iron ball strikes. I pure it on one shot and then cut out a chunk of earth on the next.
Any drills to get the correct feeling of how much muscle to use? I see the pros WHIP the ball but Im confused how they actually get the whip. With muscles or "release" their wrist

Hi Mark, Just watching your video for the downswing and you said about moving your hips forward, the rotating at the start of the downswing. Where does the line start and stop regarding moving your hips forward (good thing) and lateral movement (bad thing)? Thanks.

Great video Mark,still one question.Is it enough to just make a lateral hip move and then allow the momentum of the shoulder/arms aid the turning of the hips?I know this is something a few pros subsribe to including The Golfing Machine.
I try to do this, but I have my left knee colapse toward the target as well, which causes my hips to stop turning and my club to flip. How do I make this move while posting my left and keeping my hips turning?

@froggyboomsplat1 Try a drill where you hit iron shots with a massively open stance. This will give you the feeling of hitting against your left leg rather than beyond it.

This tip wont work for everyone. If you struggle wth over the top, you may will shank everything. You have to also drop/loop the club at the top to exaggerate coming from the inside.
