$30M Lotto Jackpot Comes Just In Time For Holidays

Lotto fever is hitting the sunshine state with a $30 million jackpot.

The jackpot comes just in time for the holidays. It would be a big chunk of change if someone were to win it in the drawing Saturday night.

The lotto office said people especially like to test their luck around the holiday, which is part of the reason that 10 of the 19 years there has been a lottery, the jackpot has reached amounts of more than $25 million between Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

"I always notice that. For some reason it just works out that way," one man said.

Two of the biggest holiday jackpots were $100 million five years ago and $70 million eight years ago.
