  • My sister has dyslexia,i feel bad for her because she will be like this for the rest of her life.

Also i hate her teacher because she called my sister stupid a million times and made fun of her in front of her class,

when my parents told her teacher that she has dyslexia....she just said "oh"

My sister has low self esteem because of her and she couldnt even say sorry >:(

  • I am so happy that there is a video that captures real dyslexia.

I wish it was a little longer. I have spoken to my boyfriend about it but he doesn't understand. He hates when I bring it up, and I always feel bad like there's something wrong with me that I have to hide...its hard sometimes, when the ppl that you love don't understand you...anyways thanks for posting this video. it really sums living with dyslexia nicely.

  • Having dyslexia can be a gift & be a curse!

All my life most people laughed at me for having dyslexia. When I was in elementary I was fortunate enough to have parents that put me into tutoring. My dyslexia gets in my way with my math & spelling (other than that I'm fine). I'm gifted in many arts, I can paint like you can't believe & I'm a creative writer! Dyslexics are usually tallented in artistic & creative subjects :) When people laugh at me I just smile and know they're the ignorent ones.

  • @Sk8Girl7 your sister's teacher is a bitch, if I may say...

  • bella thorne has dyslexia

  • @kenny1234123121 That really sucks that you feel like you can't talk about it! Try and let him know how important it is for you to talk about this sort of thing. Its such a big part of your life (not necessarily in a bad way) I'm dyslexic too, and I know that the way my eyes focus on a page helps me draw. There are so many positive sides to it as well.

  • @Sk8Girl7 That is so terrible. I've been called stupid so many times as a child, that sort of thing really sicks with you for years. I really hope she grows into a more confident person! I know I have. btw 21 and I'm dyslexic too.

  • GET SOME COLORED GLASSES! Like trying to teach a blind person to drive a car. You can tell them how to shift and turn, but they can't see the road. In 1988, 60 minutes aired a segment, colored glasses for dyslexics. I was severally dyslexic. I went out and got a pair. Purple was my color. Blues or reds are the colors that work best. At 28 I could read for the first time! I could see the print. It's a physical handicap. Side note, after laysic eye surgery I don’t need my colored glasses any more.
