'Inner Peace' - Camille Saint-Saëns - Symphonie No. 3 "avec orgue" - 2nd Movement..

To many, this piece of music may seem long and drawn out. I have mixed feelings about it now. Please watch it right through - and decide.

It was the night of 5th September 2006. My partner had been in another of his drug-driven rages and attacked me - punched me in the stomach. I was due for a a cancer test the following morning. Bowel cancer (stage 3) was confirmed..Enough of that - I sought solace, and found it in this beautiful music, which is why I wanted to share it with my friends on You Tube.

Life seemed awful at the time - then I saw children with cancer, and I'd like to dedicate this beautiful piece of music to them, and to all who are suffering as a result of this horrible disease. I am well into remission and almost officially clear. I am so grateful to those people at Leeds General Infirmary who saved my life, and simultaneously made me realise I have work to do to help others. Also - how precious life really is.

I hope many will relate to some of the images therein - I think there is something for everyone there. I tried to mix the pictures in a meaningful fashion.

Please rate generously, and do something good every day. I don't mean to sound patronising - just grateful for my priceless life.

Gorgeous this music of Saint-Saens. I do not understand much the English, but I believe that you say to have had cancer and you already are well. A strong hug, the life is beautiful, God loves to us.

thank you for this - beautifully done as always. And thank you for sharing what happened to you. I sincerely hope, as well as being in remission, that you are out of that abusive relationship now - and I say that as one who has been there; the days are too precious to waste on that.
