I cant wait 'till we start getting the results of these collisions. Using my highly analytical and scientific mind, I'm guessing we won't discover the higgs boson, but it will throw up more questions that we will need to resolve. Either that or the answer is 42. Its pretty exciting either way.

I'm aware of the numbers but it still baffles me every time. 26 kilometres 11,000 times per second under strictly controlled conditions. Amazing!

An older video from CERN, but still worthwhile. I'm reading the LHC will start 6 Tev collisions around the end of this month! Woot finally.
