I relocated my server rack to the other side of the basement and combined it with my home theater equipment. There is still a lot of work to be done.

  • that setups really loud. how did you get the sony receiver up there? do you have brackets for it or is it just sitting on a shelf?

  • @Maxxarcade oh that low. my dell poweredge 4400 consumes that and its only one box. How did you make yours so power afficnt?

    Im kinda thinking on putting together an storage server :)

  • @37474748 Actually, now that I thought about it, it's probably closer to 500W. The file server alone uses 300+. Some day I'll have to measure it.

    do you suspend your drives when not in use or something like that?

  • Those Proliant servers are excellent. HP continues to make them just as well to this day. Nice setup.
