If you look close, you can see the waved yellow flag and the safety car sign at 0:06. So maybe he was going just a bit too fast during safety car period? If he crashed he could have easily been the stupid instead of being the hero. Top reaction though, no doubt about that.

Extremely quick reactions there from what seems to be yet another "Bristol Flyer" and makes me even more proud of my Bristolian heritage! Hope to see Dino competing along side Hamilton and Button in the not so distant future and no doubt proving to be yet another Great British racing driver. By the way I fitted the carpets in his parents house in W-S-Mare back in 1995 and went to school with both his Aunty and Mum, so could I get some free tickets for the F1 at Valencia, Spain in the future ;-)

Knowing your surroundings is one of many things it takes to be a skilled racing driver. They pick up on absolutely everything they see. You can hear Dino let off the gas just before he sees the other cars, my guess is because he sees the zig-zagged tire marks in the rain, so he knows something's up. Any other human being wouldn't even notice that, only racing drivers.

Missed the steady yellow!!! Video point at 0.18 sec`s shows the steady yellow on indicating a full course yellow which is why you came up on them going slowly...
