Agricultural Sciences and Engineering are the two oldest and most important academic disciplines. They built Oregon into a wonderful state and the USA into a great country. They are the cornerstones of education in America.

I will be submitting my application for Fall 2010 admission when the system comes back online from maintenance on Tuesday (9/8). I will be Powered by Orange! OSU is a great university and Oregon is a great state. We need to bring Oregon to the cutting-edge on scientific and engineering research and technology.

Eh, I think OSU could've highlighted more parts of the school, and not just the fish & wildlife, food, and departments. You know, the engineering department is doing a lot for renewable power, and the Wave Lab is studying the effects of killer tsunamis on towns to try to prevent damage and save lives.
It would've been nice to have been included, that's all.

I totally agree with what you are saying. We had a pretty tight limit on length, so it's hard to fit it all in. We are currently developing more videos that expand on this one talking about other areas (like COE and the Wave lab among others). Hopefully this will help to be inclusive and build the big picture. I really do appreciate your comments. Let me know if you have ideas for Powered by Orange videos students, staff, or areas to feature.
