Did we really have a surplus? There is a disconnect between social and economic realities. Did the surplus come from cutting or restricting public services? If so, is that really a surplus because the their are economic and social disadvantages. The Harper spend, did we get a return on our investments? Let's be fair.

If you read up what the liberal MP was charged for, you would know it was not for calls leading to false polling stations, or sending harassing calls while pretending to represent another party.

Um, no they werent. If you had actually looked up what happened, you would know the fine was for making pre-recorded messages without stating who was sending them, or any return information. It was completely separate from the misleading calls that lied about polling stations, or the harassing calls claiming to represent liberals.

The CRTC fined the Liberals, not Elections Canada. There is an ongoing 590 day investigation into the Conservative sponsored robocalls in Guelph and 230+ other ridings. The only thing funny is how little you respect the democratic process that made Canada great. Wait, it's not funny, it's sick.

Rick Mercer everyone's favorite Canadian looks like a fool now since the Elections Canada investigation is over and yes one person was charged.,the Liberal MP from Guelph who paid a $5,000 fine. No Conservative dirty tricks found only Liberal.I wonder if Rick will do a rant on this MP. Its funny how quickly this story died after the investigation.
