@chubs615 U mad? the point of this movie is not to make it in a fantasy way but more in a realistic way.......dumb ass. And we all know that Baraka is a Tarkatan. no shit.
@chubs615 You do realize that he's making it more realistic by saying he surgically implanted the blades in his wrists, right? He's making it like, "If mortal kombat were real, how would we implement Baraka, who isn't human, into the series?"
single detail to be enjoyable. It's a matter of a fan's preference and opinion, and in my opinion, I think we can all agree that this trailer was infinitely better than the MK:A movie :)
My opinion though, I was kinda looking forward to seeing a full movie of this. The franchise was, for lack of a better term, "nolanized" in this trailer. The trailer shows how the mk storyline wouldve been incorporated into a slightly more realistic universe that didn't need to involve hell, otherworld races, and magic. Dude, Heath ledger did not act like the joker everybody is familiar with but dark knight was a smash hit anyway. A movie doesn't have to follow the source material to every sing
@elestornudogigante That's because these loser moron film makers think that they are creative geniuses, and are TOO STUPID to realize that the fans want to see the characters the way they were designed... unfortunately, the jackasses who have the money to make it happen want to give us their crappy interpretations. Damn hollywood sucks
Baraka is my favorite character, but why must WB, Midway, Ed Boon, everybody who worked in this had to fuck his character?!?! He is from another race, he isn't human, also he has always been bald why give him hair? MKII-MK Trilogy Baraka was the best...now it's just all fucked up, the same with Reptile, such a shame...
