Playa Del Carmen - 5th Avenue

Although the last census (2005) says that Playa Del Carmen population is just over 100,000 - we heard that it is approaching 250,000 now. Playa Del Carmen is the largest city in the Riviera Maya, tourist come to stroll along 5th Avenue and do some shopping, sit and eat at one of the many quality restaurants or just have a drink at a street bar.
Very laid back....peaceful and safe. A side of Mexico that is often over looked by mainstream media.

@atiqfazli Sony HDR AX2000 - love this camera, I use 2 X 32MB memory sticks to record to (good for approx. 6 hours of HD video), have the 6 hour battery and Sony ECM 674 microphone...

Playa del Carmen is not in the Yucatan peninsula... is in Quintana Roo... check your map... after that the video is great,,

Minute 3:48...Mixed Fajitas plate (Beef,shrimp,Chicken) $110 pesos = $9.08 US...Keep in mind you are in a HOT SPOT for vacations...you CAN"T get that at your closest Olive Garden...very affordable...(take it from a 8 years experienced chef in California)
