Glory is about 13 years. She is going to be a nice western riding horse. She is a little rusty for having been out to pasture forever. She was a little nervous on this evaluation. We just got her out of the pasture and walked her to the arena, which she did quietly. My horses were banging buckets, kicking gates and generally being noisey, not to mention the wind was blowing the the covered arena was making all kinds of noise. so not surprising she could not concentrate. Trainer thinks she knows alot more than she showed today. Once she is settled in the new environment, we will have another go. She needs work on her ground manners, but she is not mean, just fidgeting. Trainer road her in a french link snaffle and she was not too keen. Trainer thinks she may be used to a tom thumb type bit. She probably was ridden with a tie down too. All in all, considering the change in scenery, she still tried. A bit of trainer, and she is going to be very nice.
