CM Punk Crashes AAW Show

Unemployed WWE Champion CM Punk appeared at an AAW independent wrestling show, on Saturday 23rd July, in his hometown of Chicago, IL.

Punk, along with his best friend Colt Cabana, cut a promo for the fans in attendance at the Berwyn Eagles Club.

This appearance continues the groundbreaking story that started with a now-infamous shoot promo, live on Monday Night Raw. After attracting the attention of mainstream media outlets; including TMZ, ESPN, NFL.com and GQ Magazine; the Summer of Punk 2011 got even hotter, when Punk dethroned WWE poster-boy John Cena, at the 'Money In The Bank' pay-per-view, on July 17th.

@TheFryingpanofdoom Wow, if he had left for a couple of months, you would be saying "fuck you" to the WWE for not bringing him back yet. Honestly, after seeing a guy of THAT caliber come and go, it makes 99% of the guys in the WWE locker room look really shitty right? That's why they HAD to bring him back so soon.
