No one has offered a counter-argument to Yoo other than name-calling and cheap joke-making. Cynical humor is getting so lazy lately. Can somebody explain their view?

Well such WAS the Bush administration, dear!

@audreyann20 What method would you suggest? Removing the original paper from campus would have been stealing, right? Also, do you get upset when political demonstrations put extra burden on the janitorial staff, groundskeepers and police? Seems that an extra hour or two of cleanup is a small price to pay for employing someone many believe to be a war criminal.

@audreyann20 I'm glad that audreyann is concerned for the underpaid and overworked janitorial staff on her campus. I wonder if audreyann thinks that Professor's Yoo's torture memos, his "missing" DOJ emails, and Boalt's continued employment of Yoo are also "asshole moves."
In any event, custom printing for industrial sized toilet paper rolls is not available, but if you find a supplier, please give me a heads up. Boalt is due for a restocking.

Except that what they put in IS toilet paper. Open minded huh? Wow. Good luck with that.

I just hope it's recycled.

GOOD SHIT
Yoo puts me in mind of so many historical examples of damaged people who have meticulously documented the very torture they organized. Although I am sure he considers himself to be a good man, he seems to me to embody the banality of evil. That he appear unaware of it, does not make the effects any less chilling. It actually makes them more so.

There certainly appears to be something damaged in Yoo. He gives every indication of having a stunted ability to empathize with other humans and a penchant for intellectual rationalization. One has to wonder about someone who can rationalize such positions.
