San Francisco's Resolve to Stop the Violence Project (RSVP) is a restorative justice crime prevention program that utilizes a peer-based job training model to reintegrate violent offenders into the workforce. RSVP offers intervention where people can learn to change their attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors while addressing the isolation and polarization of those affected by crime including offenders, victims, community members, and law enforcement officials. The project was a 2004 Innovations in American Government Award winner.
