  • Divine reprobate, angel not yet fallen, drunk but focused on stars, beloved of Rimsky, Ravel. Divine Moussorgsky. Thanks for this lush, gorgeous video. Zubin is terrific! Great accoustics, too.

  • I'm glad you liked it! I just love this opera so much :)

  • flutepoet, at 5:04 that is a baby crying, not a viola.

  • at 5:04 Viola came in wrong!!! OMG

  • Beautiful, and very impressionistic! Although Mussorgsky couldn't really have seen much of the paintings of people like Degas, Whistler or Renoir.he had that kind of vision in himself.

The location is the Waldbühne (Forest Stage) on the fringe of Berlin, well-known open-air venue both for classical music, theatre and rock shows.

  • Warmful to this clarinet player.

  • Lindo ! Maravilhoso sublime!

  • This is disappointing. I thought Professor Bishop was conducting.

  • what's the date and location?

  • Luuuurrrrrvely :)

  • wow truly the solo was so subtle and deep.....

  • I'm sure you're a conductor. I'm 100% sure.
