NEARtv - The Artane School of Music

Near TV Productions has been creating a Sound & Vision funded magazine programme called Northside Focus. In this clip you can see a feature they did on the Artane School of Music. The Artane School of Music provides training for young musicians in many genres. They also teach the fundementals of wrtiting, rehearsing and performing through the medium of rock music. Northside Focus went to spend a somewhat noisy day with them at the Artane Summer Rock Camp.

I was in that that year (it was 2007 by the way) and I'm in it this year as well. It's brilliant if you are interested contact the artane school of music and you'll be sure to get a place for 2009. The adult in that is dave mullen and he's a brilliant guitarist/drummer and he's very good with the whole thing. At the camp you also learn how to set up a P.A system.
