I eat EXTREMLY healthy, vitamins, and I am glad to know that at least I'm not alone with the major frustration that nobody wants to help. I can not afford to fish for a decent and caring doctor who will not throw me out the door w oh your just overweight, need to eat healthy, and maybe a deppresion medication or seeing a theropist will help. You go to a Dr. because u NEED an answer! Despite me telling of family history, who cares? Im suppised to "live" w it!

If you have this and are on medication, should it be rechecked sometimes? Can it get worse and need more medication. My mother is and she is getting the symptoms again, does she need more med? Plus the same confusion is starting again.

What is the full range for TSH? He said that mine is at 7.88. I basically feel like death all of the time and some days I am so tired I can't physically get out of bed. I also have POTS. My doctor called and left a voicemail but will be out until next week so I am trying to figure all this out. Thanks for your help!

@lexislopez really? When were you diagnosed? I was born without a thyroid gland and have been on synthroid since I was 3 days old ( the fuckers at Yale-New Haven Hospital forgot to give me the test when I was born Ivy League my ass) but anyway that sucks do you have health insurance? synthroid is really cheap 30 pills are only 12 bucks for me with no insurance
You need to find another doctor. 7.7 is way to high.
